Gamers become
sportsmen and sportswomen

In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, the 13Utopik academy, an E-Sport structure trains gamers online like professional athletes

«“Sports and E-sport are complementary, states Samuel Achille, founder of 13Utopik. Many gamers compete but very few stand out. But those ones need the same management as professional soccer players.” Samuel and 13Utopik offer support between sports and virtual sports. Sport helps gamers to get better reactivity and better focus. That is why 13Utopik has created a training center for Gamers . In Marseille, the academy organizes “boot camps”. With intensive squash or badminton training sessions, the gamers improve their ability to focus. During three weeks of intensive training courses, with traditional sports and e-sports, gamers become more steady.

In December 2019, 13Utopik partnered with the Decathlon store of Bouc-Bel-Air, in the south of France, to raise awareness among its customers about E-sport. Customers have been able to swim or practise archery, exert themselves and make sure E-sport was as powerful as traditional sports.
