Two friends and associates, Chris and Rob have a Coffee Shop in Bordeaux which is also a store to sell and repair bikes. In a friendly way, this special place “La Musette»» offers to go back to the past as well as look towards the future.

If you go to the «Somme area» in Bordeaux, don’t miss “La Musette – Bicycles & Coffee” the store of two friendly and unusual people: Chris and Rob. Two English and American cycling fans who became partners to realize a common dream: running a shop that looks like their state of mind. An independent coffee place with bikes. They teamed up with a french apprentice and an Argentinian cook, the two associates chose Bordeaux for the nice french way of life « A friendly place with the ocean and the sun » says Chris. And sports place too…

Rob was a high level professional in bike-polo, he participated in the world championships of this sport. Chris cycles on roads as leisure. They have a common philosophy. La “Musette” is a place with a community and environment-friendly spirit. Instead of only selling bikes, or only serving food La Musette shares a way of living. Fresh products from the fresh market delivered with a bike and served individually. La Musette also has a repair workshop for bikes, a few meters away from the food delivery place. After walking through a little corridor, you will discover a small area with tables and a small patio with a garden where basil grows and is served in dishes prepared in front of you.

The icing on the cake: bikes for a collection are hanging here and there to be sold. Even when going to the bathroom you will discover pictures of cyclists on the corridor walls.
